India, Feb. 16 -- In a significant push towards fostering a culture of self-reliance, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Sunday distributed the first tranche of financial assistance under the Mukhyamantrir Atmanirbhar Asom Abhiyan (CM-AAA) 2.0 to nearly 10,000 budding entrepreneurs. At a mega ceremony held at Nehrubali, a total of 9,964 youths from the districts of Nagaon, Morigaon, and Hojai received their initial installments.

Breaking down the figures, the Chief Minister noted that 4,196 beneficiaries hailed from Nagaon, 2,944 from Morigaon, and 2,824 from Hojai.
