India, May 31 -- Himachal Pradesh's Kullu district witnessed severe traffic congestion over the weekend as thousands of tourists flocked to popular destinations like Kasol, Manikaran, and nearby hill stations to escape the summer heat.
Long queues of vehicles were seen on major roads, with traffic moving slowly for several kilometres, causing inconvenience to both tourists and local residents.
Authorities reported a sharp rise in visitor numbers due to the holiday season and pleasant weather conditions.
