India, Sept. 6 -- The long-awaited Gurugram Metro extension project has officially taken off, with Union Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs, Manohar Lal, and Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini laying the foundation stone on Friday in Sector-44. The ambitious project, pegged at '5,452.72 crore, is expected to redefine urban mobility, decongest roads, and significantly push up property values across the city.The 28.5-km corridor will feature 27 stations, connecting Old Gurugram with New Gurugram and creating a seamless link to Cyber City and other key business hubs.
