India, April 10 -- The Delhi Government will host a series of programmes from April 10-14 to pay tribute to Bharat Ratna Bhimrao Ambedkar to mark his 136th birth anniversary, Minister for Social Welfare and SC/ST/OBC Welfare Ravinder Indraj Singh said on Thursday.

He invited all citizens to participate, stating that this year Baba Saheb's birth anniversary will be celebrated in Delhi in a grand and enthusiastic manner. A major highlight will be the "Bhim Jyoti Utsav" to be organised near India Gate, in the Kasturba Gandhi Marg area, where rich literature related to Baba Saheb and important aspects of his life will be displayed through a special gallery.
