Govt to upgrade infra of 75 CM Shri schools
India, June 26 -- The Delhi government's Expenditure Finance Committee (EFC) will spend Rs 265 crore to upgrade infrastructure at 75 CM Shri schools, including sports facilities, auditoriums and CCTV surveillance systems.
A proposal to this effect has been approved in the recent EFC meeting chaired by the chief minister, Rekha Gupta. The meeting was attended by PWD Minister Parvesh Sahib Singh, Education Minister Ashish Sood and senior officials of the concerned departments. The chief minister said that under the project, school entrance gates will be redesigned, upgraded and beautified in a modern style. They will display the new CM SHRI logo along with the name of the school.
