Govt to roll out property Aadhaar cards, land records bill: CM
India, July 31 -- Chief Minister Rekha Gupta announced on Thursday that the Delhi Government is preparing the Land Records Bill, 2026 and planning to introduce property Aadhaar cards for each property in the city.
Once the law comes into force, every property in Delhi will undergo a scientific survey and a comprehensive digital record will be created. Each property will then be assigned a unique 'Property Aadhaar Card'. A special session of the Delhi Legislative Assembly will be convened for the Bill.
