Govt to modernise registrar offices: CM
India, May 24 -- Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Saturday said the Delhi government plans to transform registrar offices into modern and citizen-centric service centres, modelled on the efficiency and time-bound service delivery seen at Passport Seva Kendras.
The Chief Minister said the aim is to transform the way these offices function so that citizens registering property no longer have to deal with delays, corruption, middlemen or unnecessary hassles.
