India, July 5 -- The Delhi Government on Saturday issued transfer orders of 52 finance officers who had served at the same posting for five years or more. These include 23 Deputy Controllers of Accounts and 29 Senior Accounts Officers.

In addition, 19 senior accounts officers have been promoted as deputy controllers of accounts, expanding their responsibilities in recognition of their performance. All 71 officers have been directed to assume charge at their new places of posting immediately and carry out their responsibilities accordingly.

Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said the transfers and promotions have been made purely on administrative grounds to promote integrity and transparency in the system.
