Ranchi, Aug. 12 -- Jharkhand has long been known for its rich mineral resources and vibrant culture. However, in recent years, it has also emerged as a significant player in the country's export landscape.
Jharkhand has made a remarkable leap in its export performance. As per Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO) data, in 2024-25, Jharkhand exported goods and services a worth whooping ?16,644 crore (USD 1.90 billion). The state's rank in India's export list has improved dramatically - from 21st position in 2020-21 to 17th in 2024-25 - a rise driven in large part by the contribution from Adani Power Plant in Godda.
