India, April 3 -- Goa, Bengal, Chandigarh and Uttarakhand won their respective matches on the second day of the Sub Junior Women's National Hockey Championship here on Thursday.
Goa beat Telangana 6-3 in a Division C Pool A match, Bengal defeated Dadra and Nagar Haveli & Daman and Diu 1-0 in Division B Pool A game, while Chandigarh crushed Gujarat 12-1 in a Division B Pool B match.
Uttarakhand got the better of Karnataka 6-1 in another Division B Pool B match.
Captain Dellina Mendes (40th minute, 41st) and Bertila Kerketta (48th, 52nd) scored a brace each for Goa, while Seema Tirkey (3rd) and Vidya Kumari (16th) also contributed with goals
