India, July 2 -- A disturbing case of alleged child abuse has emerged from a daycare centre operating inside an IT company campus in Brookefield, Bengaluru, where an FIR has been registered against five women caregivers under the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act.

The case came to light after videos showing the alleged abuse were shared with the Child Helpline and the District Child Protection Unit.

According to the complaint, the caregivers allegedly subjected toddlers aged between two and four years to physical and mental abuse whenever they cried or became restless.
