Female protester injured during CJP march stable, off ventilator
India, July 24 -- The 21-year-old woman who sustained critical injuries during the clashes between CJP protesters and Delhi Police earlier this week is showing signs of recovery and has been taken off ventilator support, according to a health bulletin issued by Dr Ram Manohar Lohia (RML) Hospital on Thursday.
Doctors said the woman was successfully extubated 24 hours ago and is now breathing on her own. She is conscious, responding appropriately to commands and remains under close observation in the hospital's intensive care unit.
