India, April 15 -- The Delhi Police Crime Branch has busted a large counterfeit cosmetics manufacturing unit in the capital and arrested four persons, including the alleged kingpin, in connection with the illegal production and supply of fake branded products.

Deputy Commissioner of Police, Crime Branch, Delhi, Harsh Indora, said the operation led to the seizure of over 20,000 counterfeit items, including filled tubes, packed products, raw materials, and packaging equipment. "This action dismantled an organised network involved in manufacturing and distributing fake cosmetic products. We have recovered a large quantity of counterfeit goods and arrested the key accused involved in the racket," he said.
