India, Nov. 13 -- Once again, it is the BJP that is set to call the shots in Bihar, if the exit polls are to be believed. Nine exit polls have predicted that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will sweep the polls and that the BJP will be the largest single party in the state, displacing Tejashwi Yadav's Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD). The average of exit polls suggests that the NDA could secure around 147 seats, while the Mahagathbandhan will get around 90 seats.

Exit polls suggest that the BJP will win around 69 seats, followed by JD(U) with 62, and the RJD with 63. If this turns out to be true, Bihar would be another state where the BJP becomes the dominant force, and Nitish Kumar could well be elbowed out as the next chief minister.
