India, May 29 -- Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has assured strict action against examination mafias and promised a transparent and error-free re-examination process following recent paper leak controversies.

He described the paper leak incident as extremely unfortunate and said the government was committed to protecting the interests of deserving students. He acknowledged that students' trust had been shaken and stressed that authorities were taking strong corrective measures to restore confidence in the examination system.
