New Delhi, Aug. 18 -- Facing accusations about Special Intensive Revision (SIR), the Election Commission of India (ECI) on Sunday hit back at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi over his vote chori allegation saying some political parties are firing from the poll body's shoulder at voters.

Making this assertion, Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar, in an unprecedented news conference, said Rahul Gandhi should either give a declaration under oath within seven days on his allegations of irregularities in the voter list, else his vote theft claims would be rendered baseless and invalid.
