India, July 6 -- The Election Commission of India (ECI) announced by-elections to three Rajya Sabha seats from West Bengal. Polling will be held on July 24, with the counting of votes scheduled to take place the same day after the polling process concludes.

According to the election schedule, the notification for the bypolls will be issued on July 7, while the last date for filing nominations is July 14. Scrutiny of nomination papers will take place on July 15, and candidates can withdraw their nominations until July 17. The entire election process is expected to be completed by July 29.
