India, July 19 -- External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar met Zanzibar President Dr. Hussein Ali Mwinyi in New Delhi and discussed ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation across key sectors, including higher education, artificial intelligence, healthcare, digital technology and water supply.

Sharing details of the meeting on X, Jaishankar said the discussions focused on expanding collaboration in priority areas such as capacity building, health, AI, digital infrastructure and water management.

"It was a pleasure to meet Dr. Hussein Ali Mwinyi, President of Zanzibar, United Republic of Tanzania and Chairman of the Revolutionary Council, today in Delhi," Jaishankar said.
