India, Oct. 9 -- With upcoming festivals and hostel nights in various colleges, Delhi University on Wednesday issued a set of advisories to ensure safe, smooth and orderly conduct of events and gatherings.
The advisory included appointment of a Liaison Officer (LO) by every college to coordinate with Delhi Police regarding all processions, protests, gatherings, functions and events within the North Campus area, and one for the South Campus area.
Also, the colleges may issue a social media advisory clearly specifying the nature, timing, entry requirements/passes, traffic arrangements, and designated entry/exit gates.
