India, Nov. 5 -- Giving a major boost to modernise Delhi's water and sewerage infrastructure, the Delhi Jal Board (DJB) has released a total of Rs 734.95 crore to 68 Assembly Constituencies under Capital and Revenue Heads. This marks the largest constituency-level fund release in DJB's history, ensuring that every part of the national capital benefits from renewed investment in essential water and sanitation systems, Water Minister Parvesh Sahib Singh said on Tuesday.

This Rs 735 crore release represents a historic milestone in Delhi's water governance, combining decentralisation, accountability, and rapid on-ground delivery under the new Government's vision of efficient and inclusive urban development, he said.
