India, June 30 -- The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast light to moderate rain accompanied by thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds across Delhi, offering residents relief from the recent spell of intense heat and humidity.

According to the IMD, the national capital is likely to witness a generally cloudy sky with intermittent showers through the day. Thunderstorms and lightning are expected in several parts of the city, while gusty winds could temporarily disrupt traffic and outdoor activities.
