India, June 19 -- The University of Delhi has improved its position in the QS World University Rankings 2027. The university has moved up six places to secure the 322nd rank globally, reinforcing its status as one of India's leading higher education institutions.

The latest rankings place Delhi University at 322, compared to 328 in the 2026 edition. The university has also retained its position as the top-ranked Indian university and remains seventh overall among all higher education institutions in the country.
