India, Feb. 24 -- The Delhi Government will implement the Centre's 'Rah-Veer' scheme, under which citizens who help seriously injured road accident victims within the golden hour will receive a cash reward of Rs 25,000, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta announced on Monday.

The scheme aims to encourage people to assist victims without fear of legal complications and to ensure timely medical care that can save lives.

Announcing the decision, the Chief Minister said the financial incentive has been introduced by the Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) to promote humanitarian action.
