India, July 19 -- Delhi Police have stepped up security arrangements at Jantar Mantar ahead of a proposed march to Parliament on Monday, coinciding with the start of the Monsoon Session of Parliament. Authorities said heightened vigil has been put in place to maintain law and order amid calls for the protest.

Police have deployed additional personnel, erected barricades and intensified surveillance in and around Jantar Mantar and key routes leading towards Parliament. Security checks have also been strengthened at strategic locations across the national capital.
