New Delhi, Aug. 6 -- The Left wing trade union Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU) on Tuesday demanded that the Delhi Police must immediately retract their discriminatory statement and issue an apology to Bengali speaking migrant workers.
CITU general secretary Tapan Kumar Sen in a statement urged Central Government to initiate legal actions against the unconstitutional remarks of the Delhi Police and to halt its communal "pushback" policies and to respect the linguistic diversity of India, instead of abrogating it.
