India, Feb. 17 -- Delhi Police marked its 79th Raising Day on Monday. The event was marked with a series of initiatives, including the unveiling of a 32-foot-tall 3D portrait of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel at Police Headquarters and the launch of a new digital platform for Police Clearance Certificates and Character Verification Reports.
Commissioner of Police Satish Golchha unveiled the grand portrait of Patel at the headquarters on Jai Singh Road in the presence of senior officers and personnel. The installation has been mounted on the front glass elevation of the building and stands 32 feet tall on the outer facade. The ceremony was described as a tribute to the "Iron Man" and a moment of pride for the force.
