India, Sept. 16 -- Delhi Police has suspended constable Deepak Bangar, who was deployed for rooftop sniper duty during the 18th BRICS Summit, after he posted Instagram reels showing himself handling firearms and revealing sensitive security details while on assignment.

Bangar, posted with the Foreigners Cell in the Northwest district, was assigned to a five-star hotel in Central Delhi housing foreign delegates during the summit, held at Bharat Mandapam from September 12 to 13 and attended by leaders including Russian President Vladimir Putin, Chinese President Xi Jinping and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.
