India, March 20 -- Delhi Lieutenant Governor Taranjit Singh Sandhu on Thursday inspected the Yamuna at Kalindi Kunj and called for involving scientific experts to develop practical and sustainable solutions for cleaning the river. During his visit to Kalindi Kunj Ghat, Sandhu took stock of the ground situation along the river, accompanied by senior officials from concerned departments. The visit comes amid ongoing concerns over pollution levels in the Yamuna.
