India, Aug. 23 -- A matrimonial dispute between husband and wife over administering medications to their infant led to the killing of the former by several family members of the latter. A 31-year-old software engineer was reportedly assaulted and killed by members of his wife's family in the Nihal Vihar area of outer Delhi on Friday. The deceased has been identified as Vinay Gupta, who was employed as a software engineer with a multinational corporation in Noida. He married a 31-year-old woman three and a half years ago, and the couple has twin children, a boy and a girl, who are approximately 4.5 months old. The wife is a homemaker.
