Delhi Government shifts over 75% of official work to e-office platform, says CM Rekha Gupta
India, June 28 -- More than 75 per cent of the Delhi government's paperwork has shifted to an online e-Office platform covering 177 departments and around 15,700 active users in the last year.
Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said in a statement that one year of e-Office implementation has reduced dependence on paper files and enhanced transparency in governance. The use of e-Office was made mandatory across all Delhi Government departments from July 1, 2025. At present, all 132 government departments are part of the system, with 11,940 active users. Since April 13, 2026, 120 of the 132 government departments, about 91 per cent, have been using e-Office regularly.
