India, Sept. 29 -- Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Saturday night celebrated the city's diverse festivals, noting an unprecedented level of participation. She said this is especially true among the youth. The Chief Minister declared that Delhi is now emerging as a "capital of culture alongside development" and experiencing a vibrant cultural reawakening this festival season. She made the remarks after joining several ongoing Navratri and Durga Puja events. She observed that Ramleelas, Durga Puja, Dandiya, and Garba events are all happening simultaneously. She also highlighted the simultaneous celebration of festivals from other regions, including Onam and Telangana's flower festival, Bathukamma.
