India, June 8 -- A Delhi court has rejected the bail application of a cook arrested in connection with the deadly Malviya Nagar fire tragedy that claimed multiple lives and left several others injured.

The accused, identified as Keshav Negi, was arrested by Delhi Police during the ongoing investigation into the fire incident at a guest accommodation facility in the Hauz Rani area of Malviya Nagar. Investigators have alleged that his actions during the emergency may have contributed to the severity of the tragedy.
