India, Feb. 12 -- In a boost to the Capital's metro expansion plans, the Delhi on Wednesday approved three new corridors under Phase V(A) of the Delhi Metro project, including a key corridor linking the Central Vista, following clearance from the Union Government.Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said the Phase V(A) of the project, estimated at '12,014.91 crore, will strengthen public transport in the Capital and added that the Delhi Government will contribute '2,940.46 crore towards the project cost. The three approved corridors include RK Ashram to Indraprastha (via Central Vista), Tughlakabad to Kalindi Kunj, and Aerocity to Indira Gandhi Domestic Terminal-1 (IGD T-1).
