Ranchi, July 1 -- Now one will not have to go to Bihar for any land related matters of the Defence Department in Jharkhand. Its hearing will now be done in Ranchi itself. Very soon the office of Defence Estate Department will be opened in Ranchi by the Ministry of Defence. On the initiative of Minister of State for Defence and Ranchi MP Sanjay Seth, the Ministry of Defence has given its approval.
It is known that till now there was no Defence Estate Office in Jharkhand. Neither were any of its officers deputed. Due to this, to resolve the problems related to defence land in Jharkhand, people had to go to the Defence Estate Office located in Danapur, Bihar.
