India, May 26 -- Doordarshan National is set to launch a refreshed prime-time entertainment lineup featuring a mix of quiz shows, social dramas and comedy programmes aimed at bringing family audiences back to television screens.

The public broadcaster announced that the new programming slate will focus on wholesome entertainment combining knowledge, social awareness and family values, while also reviving nostalgia through the return of several iconic television formats.
