India, Sept. 11 -- A day after his love marriage, the house of a man, belonging to an SC community was allegedly demolished in Jogulamba Gadwal district of Telangana on Thursday by his wife's relatives who were "opposed" to their relationship, police said.

The woman belongs to a BC community.

The incident happened in Repally village of Gadwal rural mandal on Thursday evening, they said adding no one was residing in the two-room house for the past several months and only one room was completely demolished.

The man, a driver, and the woman, who is studying college final year, are natives of Repally village.

Both of them were staying in Hyderabad and fell in love and got married on September 9, a senior police official said.
