D K Shivakumar inspects Yeshwanthpur APMC, reviews farmer grievances and market facilities
India, Sept. 8 -- Karnataka Chief Minister D K Shivakumar on Tuesday made an early-morning visit to Bengaluru's Yeshwanthpur APMC Yard, where he met farmers, traders, commission agents and workers to assess problems related to agricultural produce, market transactions and facilities.
Shivakumar reached the market at around 6 am and visited the potato, onion, ginger and garlic sections. He questioned farmers and traders about production, prices, commissions, transportation, deductions and the weighing of produce, while also inspecting basic facilities at the yard.
