India, June 15 -- A Delhi court has ordered the registration of an FIR in a shocking IVF-related case after DNA tests revealed that twin girls born to a Delhi couple are not biologically related to either parent, raising serious allegations of embryo mix-up and document forgery at a fertility clinic.

The couple, Rahul and Meena Rathore, had approached SCI IVF Hospital in Greater Kailash in late 2024 after deciding to undergo in-vitro fertilisation (IVF) treatment. Meenu gave birth to twin girls on January 5, 2026, but the couple soon grew suspicious after noticing that the children bore no resemblance to either parent.
