India, Sept. 28 -- A complaint has been filed with the Delhi Police alleging that a 22-year-old woman was assaulted and threatened by a man identified by her family as the son of senior IAS officer Ashwani Kumar at her residence in Greater Kailash-2, police sources said.

The woman's mother submitted the complaint online to the Deputy Commissioner of Police of South Delhi on Sunday, seeking an impartial investigation and protection for her daughter.

According to the complaint, the woman and the accused had been involved in a dispute since July and he visited her residence on Friday to discuss the matter.
