India, April 18 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Friday flagged off 200 new electric buses, pushing the city's total fleet beyond 6,300 and strengthening its position as the largest electric bus network in the country.
The Government also launched an interstate electric bus service between Delhi and Rohtak and inaugurated key transport infrastructure projects.
The Chief Minister said the move is part of a broader plan to make Delhi cleaner and reduce pollution through electric mobility. She added that improving connectivity and modernising public transport remain central to the government's agenda.
