India, April 7 -- Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Monday directed all departments to ensure time-bound completion of development works announced in the 2026-27 Budget, warning against delays and calling for strict monitoring through the CM Pragati Portal.

Chairing a high-level review meeting at the Delhi Secretariat, the Chief Minister emphasised that execution and visible results are now critical to achieving the goal of a developed Delhi. She asked departments to move with urgency and accountability to deliver projects on schedule. "Timely execution is key to accelerating Delhi's development. The Pragati Portal will enable continuous monitoring and ensure transparency in implementation," the CM said during the meeting.
