India, Feb. 10 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Monday inaugurated a set of advanced medical facilities at Govind Ballabh Pant Hospital. The new additions include North India's first 256-slice spectral CT scanner installed in a government hospital, a state-of-the-art cath lab, and a modern neuro intensive care unit (ICU) with an integrated operation theatre complex.

Officials said the facilities are expected to significantly strengthen the hospital's capacity to diagnose and treat complex conditions such as cancer, cardiac ailments, stroke and neurological disorders while reducing waiting time for patients seeking specialised care.
