India, June 13 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Friday announced an ex gratia payment of Rs 10 lakh for the families of those who lost their lives in the Malviya Nagar fire and the building collapse in Saket, while also declaring financial assistance of Rs 2 lakh for those injured in the two tragedies.

The announcement was made during a special programme at the Delhi Secretariat, where the Chief Minister paid tribute to the victims and honoured citizens, police personnel, rescue workers, and officials who played a crucial role in saving lives during the emergencies.
