India, Oct. 27 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and her cabinet ministers on Sunday inspected arrangment at several Chhath ghats across the city.
The Chief Minister visited Vasudev Ghat near Kashmeri Gate and spent about three hours reviewing all the arrangements.
She directed officials from the MCD, PWD, Delhi Police and the district administration to ensure the best facilities. She interacted with the devotees and women present at the ghat and understood their needs and said that Chhath festival is a symbol of faith and cleanliness, the Government wants that every devotee should be able to worship with devotion and safety.
