CJP-villagers face off over Jaipur school visit as both sides file FIRs
India, Aug. 22 -- The dispute over an alleged attack on members of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) during a visit to a government school in Jaipur has taken a legal turn, with the CJP and local villagers filing separate FIRs against each other.
The confrontation took place on Friday when a CJP team visited Rampura Kanwarpura village to inspect a government school as part of its 'School Thik Karo' campaign.
CJP members alleged that they were stopped and assaulted by villagers, whom the outfit accused of being linked to the BJP. Villagers, however, alleged that the CJP team arrived in large numbers and created fear among residents.
