CJP to function as pressure group for now, says founder Abhijeet Dipke
India, Aug. 5 -- Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke on Wednesday, Aug 5, said the organisation would function as a pressure group for now, describing it as the need of the hour.
Speaking ahead of the party's core committee meeting, Dipke said the CJP would focus on raising public issues and rebuilding trust in institutions.
He said discussions at the meeting would centre on declining public confidence in institutions such as the media and the judiciary, besides issues including ethanol-blended fuel and unemployment.
"For now, CJP will be a pressure group, as that is what India needs," Dipke said.
