India, Oct. 10 -- Cockroach Janta Party's legal affairs head Ratna Singh on Saturday approached a Delhi court seeking registration of an FIR against police personnel, alleging that they wrongfully confined her and prevented her from joining a protest against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar over the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls.

Singh filed the application before Saket court's Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Abhinav Pandey.

According to the plea, Singh was on Saturday proceeding towards the Supreme Court with two fellow advocates to participate in a lawyers' protest when she was allegedly stopped from leaving the area outside her residence.
