India, Oct. 13 -- Delhi has achieved a significant environmental milestone, recording 199 clean air days so far this year.
This figure is nearly double the 110 clean days recorded in the entirety of 2016, a remarkable achievement with almost three months still remaining in the year.
Environment Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa hailed the data, calling it proof that consistent efforts on curbing air pollution are delivering results. He credited this turnaround to the strong leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the effective on-ground execution by Chief Minister Rekha Gupta.
