India, June 20 -- The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has intercepted four firearms and a live bullet in the Delhi Metro network during the first half of 2026, according to official data.

The force also recovered cash of more than Rs 15.77 lakh that had been forgotten in station areas by commuters. This money was restored to respective owners.

The CISF provides counter-terror cover to more than 270 stations of the Delhi Metro network. The force also demonstrated exceptional honesty through its lost-and-found services. During the six-month period, CISF personnel recovered and returned monetary valuables worth Rs 22,77,061 to their rightful owners.
