India, June 11 -- Christopher Nolan's upcoming film The Odyssey is witnessing extraordinary advance booking demand in India, with premium IMAX tickets priced as high as Rs.3300 already sold out nearly a month before its official release.

The film, which is generating global excitement, opened advance ticket sales for IMAX screens only a few days ago-nearly five weeks ahead of its worldwide release on July 17. Despite the high pricing, demand in India has surged, particularly for premium recliner and sofa seating in major metropolitan cinemas.
